Hi! Welcome to my blog and the new year! With 2020 in full swing, everyone is wondering where we are going technologically. Will there be robots? Holograms? AI? Probably not holograms, but let’s take a look at the upcoming tech trends of the new year.

  • The race for 5G is in full effect, and every carrier is chasing after a viable 5G market
  • 5G connections will speed up processing times greatly for consumers, as well as help businesses and emergency services operate
  •  Capacity for nearly 100 billion users will massively increase
  • It will be immensely expensive for companies, with costs eventually reaching $672 billion
  • Greater access to technology for all
  • As our society advances and technology becomes a vital part of life, everyone needs access to technology
  • Tech companies and developers are working diligently to ensure that everyone has access to a domain because of its importance in our world
  • People refer to it as the democratization of technology
  • They are also making applications and services easier to use
  • Autonomous and Self Driving Cars
  • We all know that Tesla is garnering a great amount of attention for their innovations in the automotive industry
  • Companies like Tesla will continue to perfect the art of the self driving car, making it one of their main goals in 2020
  • These cars are now capable of stopping, lane changing, and steering in some capacities
  • However, these cars are relatively expensive for the average consumer, making them difficult to access and purchase
Conclusion:

 These trends are incredibly advanced and exciting, but I would keep my eye on the stock options within the technology sector. Autonomy and 5G have been speculated about for years, but the profitability of the industry itself is worth noting, as well. Companies such as Adobe and Facebook have especially exciting stock trends right now, and we need to keep our eye on them. With that being said, 2020 is set to be an incredibly eventful year for technology.

Many of us have been hearing about the outbreak of the coronavirus. Since it originated in China, many people have had a hard time traveling since the problem started.
